Debt Advice – Tip of the Day – New Year, Renewed Focus

Happy 2009!  Listen folks, just like millions of people in America, my family has felt the struggles of our local and national economic issues.  But!  I am fortunate enough to remain optimistic.  The loss of my job, our transfer with Michael’s job, increasing costs, extended family struggles, all of these obstacles do not make my family a victim, and I am determined to help yours not be one too.

With a renewed focus on self sustainability and debt elimination it is imperative that we make a commitment to ourselves and our loved ones to stick to it.  I have dealt with many struggles during my life, and I am here to tell you it was my doing.  I am not a victim of circumstance, only that of my own choices.  You too, sorry to say it but you can find your own decisions in all of your situations, good and bad.

Out with the bah humbug!!!  We get what we want and what we focus on, so if we all sit around crabbing about how tough it is to get by right now, it is going to get worse.  Lets get to work finding small things we can change to keep our focus on a debt free life. I will be in touch with the steps that Michael and I are taking to start our business ventures, trim expenses while living a life we want, relocate our family, and help rejuvenate a fourth generation family flower shop.  We are no super hero’s, we make choices, try to capitalize on our strengths, and move forward to our own financial independence.  We are doing it and I want you to come with us.
