Debt Free Tip-Of-The-Day:Your Savings and Debt

This item was filled under [ Building Wealth, Spending Control ]

As I work on the cash boot camp that I hope to bring to you soon, I would like to continue to help my readers focus on forward financial momentum. With the lack of trust and fear that the economic recovery is not moving forward, I want to make sure everyone is making saving a priority when possible. I would like you to add an amount per month to be put away, into your debt list. If its $5.00 or $500.00, put it away. If you haven’t built an emergency fund, start one. I am not suggesting you jump into the stock market, unless you are comfortable or have a trusted advisor. I am suggesting you start a separate savings account, open a CD, or in some way differentiate the money being saved from daily spending. Once you have reached stability, you will be paying your savings first. ?Pretty exciting!
